My parents always tell me the story of when we went on holiday to Greece to one of those all-inclusive resorts where they have huge buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And 5-year old me, apparently, turned round to my parents with big eyes and asked “And it´s all for free?!?!”. Haha. So this Greek Yoghurt Breakfast Bowl is inspired by that holiday, where I remember having bowls of Greek yoghurt with honey, sunflower seeds, nuts and fresh fruit stirred through it – yummy!
Ingredients for this Greek Yoghurt Breakfast Bowl
This Greek Yoghurt Breakfast Bowl is super quick and easy to make. All you need is some oats, granola, Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit!
To get the “holiday in Greece” experience described above, I used my homemade Honey and Walnut Granola in this breakfast recipe. You can, of course, use any other granola you like and add optional extras such as sunflower seeds, chopped walnuts and a little honey!
In terms of fruit, I used some banana, fresh grapes and sliced golden honeydew melon. That´s what I had in Greece, but again, the choice is yours!
